Dress: newly made by me, McCalls 6700
(Taken in the Albuquerque airport- keeping it klassy!)
I have to say, this dress was absolutely perfect for a day of flying practically all the way across the country. Nothing beats a maxi dress when it comes to squeezing yourself into those uncomfortable airplane seats!

Speaking of airplanes, here is the one I took my first ride of the day on. It was a thrilling ride, to say the least!
P.S. please don't mind my iPhone blogging! I'm not sure I have the system quite worked out.
Girl, even the fact that you're *able* to blog from your iPhone must mean that blogger is more friendly to that than Wordpress is... For me it would be an incoherent nightmare. I adore this dress on you -- when I saw it on Flickr I restrained myself from demanding "WHAT PATTERN IS THAT??" (See all my restraint?) So glad that it's one I already have! Seems like a quick make, yeah? Putting it on my list...sigh...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great dress - and a scary plane. I may have to invest in that pattern.
ReplyDeleteMaxi dresses are so comfy! Love your dress!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! Suits you perfectly, and looks very elegant for a day of travel.
ReplyDeleteAdorable dress! I'm usually not a maxi dress kinda girl but I think this year is the year I make one, maybe this week... they look really great and I can only imagine that it's super comfy. Is that a cotton jersey? Hope your plane ride wasn't too barf-inducing... those crop-dusters can be a bit nuts to ride on.
